ALTERNATE SYNOPSIS After getting fired from his I.T. job, Blake – a wannabe hippie, links up with a true rebel named Meliss, who by sheer coincidence, gets canned from her job on the exact same day. Deciding to do whatever it takes to attain a new reality, the two outcasts embark on a quest. But acquiring what they seek isn’t always as easy as it seems. And Blake & Meliss find themselves on an out-of-control, life-or-death mission.
ORIGINAL SYNOPSIS After getting fired from his I.T. job, Blake, a wannabe hippie, links up with a true rebel named Meliss, who by sheer coincidence, was fired from her job on the exact same day. After agreeing to “drop out and tune in” for a while, the pair embark on a quest to find prescription opioids. Blake discovers that buying controlled substances isn’t always as easy as it seems, and ends up following Meliss on a life-or-death mission to acquire them.
