- Coincide filmed scenes in 14 different set locations, in 7 different towns in Connecticut.
- The Shatter Films crew employed guerrilla style filming while shooting the “Meliss at work” montage in several public settings.
- Three of the six cast members of Coincide share the last name Murray. Two of them are related and are actual twins.
- Several costume items were stolen from Jason Collins’ front lobby just before filming began, leaving the cast & crew to improvise on the first day of filming.
- Jason Collins accidentally threw out some of the production’s film equipment while clearing out his apartment in preparation for shooting Coincide’s opening scenes.

- Coincide is the second collaboration between Allie Marshall and Jason Collins The first being 2017’s “Sleepless”.
- Jason Collins wrote and recorded the film’s title track, “Coincide”. Director Greorge Spatta, who is also a grammy-nominated sound engineer remastered the song for Coincide’s trailer.
- Actress Allie Marshall transcribed all of the information on the white board for Coincide’s notorious science lesson shoot while co-star Jason Collins carried out all of the scientific research and created all of the visuals for Coincide’s notorious science lesson scene.
- Jenessa Ives, who incidentally, designed, decorated and coordinated my Captain Jack Sparrow Halloween costume that year, went on to join the cast & crew of Coincide during post-production and made significant contributions to Coincide down the final stretch. “Nessie” did all of the voice-overs for Meliss during the rough-cuts. She also helped review the rough-cuts, did make-up, props and P.A. work during the supplemental shots.
ALTERNATE SYNOPSIS
After getting fired from his I.T. job, Blake – a wannabe hippie, links up with a true rebel named Meliss, who by sheer coincidence, gets canned from her job on the exact same day. Deciding to do whatever it takes to attain a new reality, the two outcasts embark on a quest. But acquiring what they seek isn’t always as easy as it seems. And Blake & Meliss find themselves on an out-of-control, life-or-death mission.
ORIGINAL SYNOPSIS
After getting fired from his I.T. job, Blake, a wannabe hippie, links up with a true rebel named Meliss, who by sheer coincidence, was fired from her job on the exact same day. After agreeing to “drop out and tune in” for a while, the pair embark on a quest to find prescription opioids. Blake discovers that buying controlled substances isn’t always as easy as it seems, and ends up following Meliss on a life-or-death mission to acquire them.
